Richardson Street Project
There comes a time when a house needs a spruce up and this Wooden Villa was a prime example.
Being a rental property the owner was conscious of undertaking a modest renovation.
Here the RenoMasters team replaced rotten exterior weatherboards, built new fences which included a front white picket fence and tidied up the entrance way as well as double glazed the windows on half of the house. They replaced the rear deck area significantly, adding to the outdoor liveable space, put down a mix of schist stone and new lawn in the rear - making the section a very usable space and low maintenance. A new shed added for outdoor storage.
Inside all the walls were all painted neutral grey, with white doors and trims. Grey solution-dyed nylon carpet was laid in the living areas with plank vinyl flooring in the wet areas, and new soft thermal curtains helped finish the fresh look. Plus new wiring and light shades topped off the look.
I think you will agree this was well worth the effort, time and money.
This is a great example of a modest budget with "big bang for buck" and plenty of WOW factor!
